Grey duck

Autumn colours are both greyish & bright… The same applies to your autumn mood.

One day you think splashes of orange, yellow & lilac would best compliment the scenery; whilst the next day you choose a plain short suit… In which you look like a grey duck :)

The suit in fact is not a suit, but two separates.

The shorts have been derived from the broad mid-calf length pants I thrifted in Helsinki some 5 years ago.

Their cut was totally out, but the wool blend fabric was of good quality; so my mom armored with scissors and shortened them to her favourite length, which is mini ;)

Whereas the jacket is a recent bargain from H&M. Discounted to 15 Ls/21 Eur it also allowed me to pick an additional discounted item for free!

It was actually the detailing of the jacket that encouraged me to combine black&brown in this outfit.

Plus this jacket turned out to be a great background for my new edgy necklace.

It was an unexpected purchase from a charity shop or whatever, but it actually was brand new in original pouch; and as I discovered later, of a Netherlands' design by Uni X.
